CodeWarrior Pro 5 includes version 4.0 of the IDE that features a new version control API. Unfortunately, this new VCS API is not fully backward compatible and therefore does not work with the VODOOO plug-in v1.0.3, which is distributed as part of VOODOO 1.8.1.
This archive contains new versions (v 1.1.1) of the VOODOO plug-in (VOODOO) and the preferences panel (VOODOO Panel) which solve this problem. This version of the plug-in and panel should work with CW Pro 4 and CW Pro 5 but are not guaranteed to work with earlier versions of CodeWarrior. Since the plug-in versions 1.0.3 and 1.1.1 are functional identical we recommend to switch to the new version of the plug-in only when upgrading to CW Pro 5.
To install the new version of the plug-in just copy the two files VOODOO and VOODOO Panel to the CodeWarrior Plugins folder and replace the existing files with the same names. Make sure that you have only one version of the plug-in installed inside the CodeWarrior Plugins folder. For further information concerning installation please read the installation guidelines in Section 4.1 of the VOODOO User Manual.

If you are using VOODOO in combination with Metrowerks CodeWarrior we highly recommend to give VOODOO Server a try. VOODOO Server is the successor to VOODOO. We designed this client/server system to combine the experience from our previous product with state of the art technology (client/server architecture, full support of the AppleEvent Object Model, etc.).
Besides the above-mentioned technical improvements, another great advantage of VOODOO Server is its highly improved integration with Metrowerks CodeWarior. Thus, VOODOO Server is the recommended tool for individual programmers as well as large developer groups using Metrowerks CodeWarrior.
